Prepare the costing estimate and schedule for the beer label job
You are an estimator in Client Services.
What has happened
Ballarat Brands Collective has asked for a quote on four craft beer label versions, 15,000 labels each, on white polypropylene pressure sensitive stock with five colours and a matt varnish, for a product launch on 16 October. The job would run on the flexographic label line, which has a plate mounting step and a longer makeready than the offset presses. Dev Pillai wants the estimate built on the Quote and Production Costing Estimate Template, checked against stock availability and the production schedule, and recorded in the Job Ticket Register as Quoted. The quote is over five thousand dollars and needs a second estimator check.

Evidence guide
The estimate must show each cost element separately with a realistic waste allowance and makeready for a flexographic job, and the assumptions must be visible on the quote. Look for evidence the student checked stock and schedule before committing to a lead time. The register entry and the check note must be complete and the artwork handling answer must reflect the policy.
