Set up and run a short run digital job
You are a trainee digital press operator on day shift.
What has happened
A repeat order of 400 A5 menu cards for a local cafe has been released to the digital press queue. The job ticket specifies 300 gsm silk, double sided, four colour, no finishing beyond trimming. The approved proof is in the job folder and the previous run's retained sample is on the press side board. Liam Brennan is nearby but is calibrating digital press 2 and has asked you to run the job on digital press 1 on your own, following the workflow procedure and recording everything on the ticket. Toner for black is showing low in the stock system.

Evidence guide
Look for a completed ticket record with counts that reconcile, a documented comparison of the first sheet against the proof, and evidence the student checked consumables before starting. The student must show they followed the workflow procedure sequence and communicated clearly with the supervisor. Observe safe housekeeping and correct stock loading.
